On Being ArtSewDifferent!

Well for sure, my art is different. That’s why it is ArtSewDifferent!

But seriously, it is different. I take a look at what I have created and I don’t see a lot of similarities between mine and other quilt artists. There are many quilt artists whose quilts are A-MAZ-ING and I can only aspire to become as artistically and technically skilled as they are. Some of their work is very different, too. So I don’t claim “different” as only my own.

Nevertheless, my work is unique. I will give myself that. I am beginning to “find my feet” (see journal post from July 26, 2018 “On Finding my Feet”).
