On Inspiring Others

My mom recently looked at all of my available Instagram stories in my highlights and she commented to me how lovely it was to see this other manifestation of my creative and artistic side. She enjoyed them and was touched by many of them.

I was struck by her comment because I hadn’t thought of my IG stories in that manner. To me, they were simply a way to showcase some of my snapshots or videos and a place to use my inspirational quote collection.

That I was putting them to music and making them aesthetic was a personal thing. I figured others liked the quotes or the music, but I never saw them as particularly artistic or even creative.

I guess I was just pleasantly surprised that they were seen that way by someone else. We just never know who we are going to inspire on our journey, who we are going to touch, who is listening and watching, what others are paying attention to. So keep going.
